Wealth-building

We offer several wealth-building savings programs (general, housing, pension) and an employee stock purchase plan under which the company contributes 20% of employee stock purchases.

Company housing and housing rentals provided by the company

At the end of 2014, we replaced our company housing for the Tokushima Plant and Research Laboratory with a new nine-story building. We also have a program under which we provide housing rentals to employees at our other locations to relieve any stress over housing. Under this program, we enter corporate leases on the listings of our employees’ choice and cover 80% to 90% of the rent.

Special leave

We offer various types of special leave to our employees, including leave for personal or family weddings, maternity leave, bereavement leave, childcare leave, elderly care leave, leave for attending to children’s illnesses or injuries, leave for individuals on solo assignments, and more. We also offer annual paid leave amounting to 20 days per year that can be used immediately after joining the company. With an average of 13.2 days of annual paid leave taken per year, it is relatively easy to take paid leave at Nippon Denko. We are making efforts to encourage employees to take more.
