Our wastewater treatment equipment is packed with ion-exchange resin and other adsorbents. The consignment regeneration scheme at our Koriyama Plant makes it possible to recycle water and recover resources.

  • Wastewater can be reused as deionized water or pure water.
  • When impurities are removed from the chemical solutions used in plating and other industrial processes, the solutions last longer and the water can be reused.

  • No sludge is generated from wastewater treatment.

Pure Water Production System (Pure Water Technology)

Demand for high-purity water (for cleaning, mixing, inspections, and other uses) continues to rise as industrial products become more advanced. Pure water is also used to produce hydrogen, which powers fuel cell EVs and thus is regarded as an essential part of the effort to achieve carbon neutrality. Our AQUA PACK pure water production equipment is a simple pure water system packed with ion-exchange resin, and it is capable of creating high-purity water by removing impurities from tap water.
Our MR PACK (pure water production equipment)-reverse osmosis (RO) membranes paired with AQUA PACK (ion-exchange resin tower)-is used at most of the on-site hydrogen stations in Japan, thus facilitating the shift to a hydrogen-based society.

      MR PACK

      Pure Water Production System that combines reverse osmosis (RO) membranes with AQUA PACK (ion-exchange resin tower). It removes impurities from tap water to create high-purity water that is close to theoretically pure water.

      Commercial hydrogen stations began appearing in 2013. In response, we started selling our pure water production equipment for hydrogen stations in earnest.

      We now have the largest share of the Japanese market for pure water production system for on-site hydrogen stations.

      1. Pure water production volumes are calculated based on the assumption of a pre-treatment water temperature of 25℃.
      2. The pure water production depends on the pre-treatment water temperature.
      3. The quality of treated water depends on the quality of the pre-treatment water, and is estimated based on electric conductivity of 24 mS/m with water that satisfies tap water standards.
      4. The standard models are designed for indoor use. Please contact us to inquire about models designed for outdoor use.
      5. Pre-treatment water requires feed pressure of roughly 0.2 MPa.
      6. We handle all regeneration of ion-exchange resin towers; our customers do not have to deal with any waste liquid from the regeneration.

      FAQ

      Tap water contains calcium, silica, and other minerals that cause the spots. You can prevent the spots by using ion-exchange resin to remove the calcium and silica from the tap water.

      The ion deposits (water spots) that appear after washing motor vehicles are caused by calcium, silica, and other minerals in tap water. Spot-causing minerals are removed from pure water. Therefore, washing motor vehicles with pure water can prevent the spots.

      There are cases where we use ion-exchange resin as a secondary treatment to improve the quality of reverse osmosis treated water. Combining the two also makes ion-exchange resin last longer.
